The event sounds really intersting. I couldn’t make the first OpenBeta un-confrece, so I’m excited to be at the up comming one. Our Okie AUG has also been listed on their site as along with other user groups in the area.

OpenBeta2 is an un-conference — a participant-driven community event
aimed at exposing ideas and creating opportunities by connecting
smart, passionate and motivated people with different talents. When
creative people connect and share ideas that they are passionate
about, new opportunities emerge and the seemingly impossible becomes
possible through collaboration.

OpenBeta2 is scheduled for March 12th for 7-10pm. The event includes a
keynote talk, lightning talks, demonstrations, networking, food and an
open bar. Attendance is free but you must register online in advance
to be allowed in the door. We already have over 100 people registered,
so please register soon to get in before we have to cap the
registration!

This event will be Saturday April 11, 2009 at the Oklahoma City Community College from 10:00 to 5:00.

The Oklahoma Electronic Game Expo, is put on by the Computer Aided Technology deparemnt and the Comptuer Arts and Technology Soceity of Oklahoma City Community College. The goal of the event is to build a grathering for artist who create art on the computer, wheather that be graphci deisign, multimeida, web design, animaiton, CAD or game design.

The event is free and open to the public and will include an exhibitors area, several guest lectures and of course a couple of game tournaments.
