Okie AUG is proud to sponsor and support the Oklahoma Electronic Game Expo (OEGE) this year.

This event will be Saturday April 11, 2009 at the Oklahoma City Community College from 10:00 to 5:00 and is free to the public.

  • 2009 Meetings move to Monday

    Starting in January our meetings will be on the second Monday of every month. Our first new meeting time will be Jan 12th at 6:00 pm.

  • Okie AUG featured at AIGA

    I’ll be giving a presentation about the Okie AUG at the AIGA Oklahoma meeting on “Meet Your Neighbors”.

    This meeting is a networking opportunity for organization, industry professionals, educators and students to meet people in the field of Graphic Arts.

    The goal for the Okie AUG is to promote awareness about our group and possibility find some guest speakers to talk on a varity of topics at our meeting.

    The AGIA meeting will be held at OPUBCO Communications Group:

    • 9000 North Broadway Extension.
    • The event is Oct 23, 2008 and starts at 6:30pm
    • Free for AIGA members. $10 for non-members.

  • What’s Cooking in Adobe Labs

    The agenda for our first meeting on May 5, will include taking a look at Adobe Labs and what new online apps the designers of Adobe have put together, such as:

    • Photoshop Express – photoshop meets facebook online app.
    • Kuler – online app that generates color themes that can inspire any project.
    • Buzzword- the breakthrough online word processor.

    More topics will be posted. If you would like to present a topic that is Adobe or design related let us know.
